Q: How does Cart2000 work ?

A: Cart2000 offers 2 options: Static HTML or Dynamic HTML option. The Static HTML version requires one to have his own website on the internet containing the products. HTML tags are added to the pages. The Dynamic HTML version requires the Merchant to upload the product information to our server. A product catalog is dynamically generated and displayed to your customers.

Q: How do I sign up ?

Q: Will I be charged a Transaction fee ?

No. You pay a just a monthly fee based on the number of products you are selling.

Q: What if someone tries send a lower price than what was originally in one of my pages ?

We have two checks in place. First we check the IP address from where the order is coming from if its not the same we flag this as a security error. The second check, we have a feature where one can upload the prices to our server and we then check the incoming prices  with those in the database.

Q: How many products can the Cart2000 hold ?

There is no limit to the number of products the cart can hold during a single purchase.

Q: How many products can my store sell ?

There is also no limit to the number of products for your store. We do charge a little more if you have more products becuase this usually leads to more traffic.Check out our price list.

Q: Can I customize Cart2000 ?

Yes your can. You can change the color of the text and background via our online admin web pages. you can also change the header and footer to display whatever you like.

Q: What kind of support can I expect ?

We provide both email and phone support. We will walk with you every step of the way and get your store up and running with a few hours.

Q: My site was developed using FrontPage 2000, does your  shopping cart work with this ?

Yes simply enter the HTML tags which can be generated from our online Administration pages(see User Manual). Coming soon we are offering a Frontpage component to help you build your catalog absolutely free!

Q: Can we display our own logo ?

Yes our cart is very flexible and you can configure it to have all most any look you would like.

Q: What browsers will it work with ?

Our shopping cart will work with any browser on the market: Netscape 3.0 to 4.0 as well as Internet explorer 3.0 to 5.0.

Q: How secure is Cart2000 ?

It is very secure using SSL for all of the Admin web pages. In addition when Cart2000 interfaces with the Payment systems such as Authorize.Net all of your credit cart information is secured via 128 -bit encryption method. As far as product pricing Cart2000 has a built in price verification system for both the database version of our Shopping cart and the HTML version
